CPG App - Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with the CPG App, there are also some simple first steps you can  try:

  • ensure the "Commissioner of Ambulance Services" has been trusted when first downloading and installing the App (if you don't say Yes to the "trust" question, the App will not run)
  • removing the App from memory and restarting it
  • uninstalling the App and re-installing it
  • connecting to a different Wi-Fi network
  • reboot the phone (power off, wait 5 seconds then power back on)

If you are still having trouble with the CPG App after you have tried these steps, go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/apphelp and answer the questions there as best you can. This will help us look for patterns in any problems that are being reported and ensure we can provide detailed information to the App developers.

Please note: because the CPG App on iPhones is distributed as an "enterprise App" and is not distributed via Apple's App store, you must "trust" the App Certificate signed by the "Director of Ambulance Services".  If you do not trust the Certificate, you will get a message saying the "iPhone Distribution: Director of Ambulance Services has not been trusted on this iPhone …" and the App will not install or run.

To "trust" the Director of Ambulance Services, go to Settings > General > Profiles or Profiles & Device Management. You will then see a profile for the Director of Ambulance Services under the "Enterprise App" heading. There is more information on this topic on the Apple website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204460
